Pride Month – Peacemaking And Social Justice Committee

The Peacemaking And Social Justice Committee is looking for a few VOLUNTEERS to help plan FPCHC’s celebration of PRIDE month in June.
(The purpose of the LGBTQ+ Pride Month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on history, both in the church and around the world. Pride also honors those members of the community who have been lost to hate crimes or HIV/Aids.) FPCHC has celebrated Pride for the last 3-4 years with book tables, guest speakers, Tidings articles, liturgy, and of course food!!

This year the Peacemaking and Social Justice Committee needs your help. We need some new thoughts and new ideas – maybe we can plan something outside!! This is not a big commitment – maybe 2 Zoom meetings (in late April or early May) and the rest on email. Please contact if you can help.
