Conversations on Race Book Discussion

Sundays, April 18 through May 23, 2021

at 9:30 a.m. on Zoom with Paula Seabright

Please join us Sundays starting April 18 as we discuss two books; The Black Friend by Frederick Joseph and Long Time Coming by Michael Eric Dyson.

Joseph’s book includes narratives from his life and conversations with several POC. He offers himself as the reader’s Black friend in the hopes that it will help them empathize with the lives of Black people in America.

We will then move onto Dyson’s book in which he speaks directly to five Black victims of violence, and explains why we need to have a true racial reckoning and what is interfering with that.

We will meet on Zoom. All are welcome.  To register for the class CLICK HERE and a link will be emailed to you.
