We kick off our season of engaging speakers and civil conversations on climate change and sustainable living with an opportunity to hear from a global partner in environmental sustainability.
Jaff Bamenjo is the Coordinator of RELUFA, the Network for the Fight Against Hunger in Cameroon. Established in 2001, RELUFA is a network of civil society and grassroots actors, including ecumenical and secular non profits organizations and religious entities, whose mission is to fight against systemic problems that lead to poverty, hunger and poverty, economic, social and environmental injustices. RELUFA has three areas of interest: Extractives Industries Monitoring, Land and Resource Justice, and Food and Trade Justice.
Jaff is in the United States as an International Peacemaker of the Presbyterian Church (USA), a partner in RELUFA. He holds a Masters Degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies in Hague, the Netherlands where he majored in the Politics of Alternative Development, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Yaoundé II in Cameroon.

The Earth Forum of Howard County calls together Earth activists, faith communities, government agencies and interested individuals for civil and informed discussion of climate change, sustainable living and developing communities of cooperation through education ideas and actions to touch hearts for the majesty of creation.

The Earth Forum and its engaging speakers and civil discussions on sustainable living and climate change, returns in October for its eleventh season. Most Forums will be held the third Sunday of the month, at 2:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Howard County.
