This year marks the 16th year of the First Pres Coffee Microgrant Project. Through this initiative, members and friends of First Pres have provided microgrants to over 300 families in the church's partner presbytery in Guatemala. These grants allow the recipients to cultivate coffee plants on their small plots of land, creating sustainable economic opportunities in a remote region of Guatemala and increasing each family's annual income by as much as 20-30%.
