Warm for Winter

Saturday, November 9th is Warm for Winter, our 6th annual event providing winter coats, blankets, children’s books, and other cold weather gear for the clients of Luminus. Luminus is our local mission partner that assists immigrant and refugee families in Howard County. Bring your (and your neighbors') donations to the collection bin in the Lower Commons - or the Drive up/Drop off opportunity on Saturday, November 2nd from 10 am to noon!

Would you like to help welcome the Luminus families into our “home” - showing these recent immigrants that we see them, that we care about them, and that we are not so different after all? Sign up to volunteer! Many of our guests will be Spanish speaking, but a smiling face is all we request from our volunteers.
