Warm for Winter

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 9th for Warm for Winter, our 6th annual event providing winter coats, blankets, children’s books, and other cold weather gear for the clients of Luminus. Luminus is our local mission partner that assists immigrant and refugee families in Howard County. It's not too soon to start saving aside coats and other items that your own (or your neighbors’) family may have outgrown.

Would you like to help welcome the Luminus families into our “home” - showing these recent immigrants that we see them, that we care about them, and that we are not so different after all? Sign up to volunteer! Many of our guests will be Spanish speaking, but a smiling face is all we request from our volunteers. And watch for the collection bin in the Lower Commons within the next couple of weeks.
