We were all invited to join the rest of our Presbytery of Baltimore in a presbytery-wide worship service on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m. About 100 members of congregations from all over the Presbytery of Baltimore gathered online for worship on Wednesday, August 19, for the first such service in the Presbytery’s history. The theme of the service was “Reform to Transform,” led by the Presbytery’s Dismantling Racism team.
During the service, preachers Michelle Ward and Phyllis Felton explored the Biblical passage of Matthew 15.21-28. This was the story of Canaanite woman who asked Jesus to cure her daughter. Following the service, many of the participants gathered into smaller break-out groups for further discussion.
