Our Summer Worship Schedule begins on Sunday, June 4, 2023
And continues all summer hrough Sunday, September 3, 2023.
This summer there will be ONE worship service at 10:00 a.m.
Although we will not have First Worship this summer, that child-focused service is not totally going away. We’ll be folding into this one summer service some of our traditions from First Worship, so we have one, really great summertime worship service for everyone in the church!
We will learn how to worship by worshipping together. That means the children of the congregation will be taking part in worship leadership at this service by serving as worship assistants. Children can help to light the Christ Candle, pour the water into the font, read one of the texts, or help take up the offering. Sign up with Virginia or Pastor Sue at the Welcome Desk!
Children who are helping during the worship service will be shown on the church livestream on Facebook and YouTube unless a parent/guardian objects. We will work with families who prefer not to have their children shown on the livestream. When you sign up please let us know your preference.
Summer is a great time for youth and adults who are interested in serving as liturgists to jump in. Talk with Pastor Sue if you are interested. She will be organizing a liturgist orientation session soon.
