The Earth Forum Reunion

EARTH FORUM OF HOWARD COUNTY

A Community of Listening, Learning and Acting!

Join us on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00pm for The Earth Forum Reunion!

at First Presbyterian Church of Howard County
9325 Presbyterian Circle
Columbia, MD 21045

Two years of Covid kept us from gathering in person – but Earth Forum friends and partners have been busy tending and keeping creation.  Come celebrate, learn and share with all the friends of the Earth Forum.

Speaker…Networking…and What’s Next

Please wear a mask! Thanks!

Our distinguished featured speaker is Mark S. Richmond, PE, Chief of Stormwater Management in the Howard County Department of Public Works

Mark will update us on the county’s work in stormwater management, and in particular he’ll talk with us about Ellicott City projects.

Mark has worked as a professional engineer in Maryland for over 35 years for both a private consulting engineering firm and for County government. Mark earned a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College and an MS degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University. His main area of expertise is in water resources, specifically leading projects in stream restoration, flood mitigation, stormwater management, and water quality treatment projects.

We’re inviting all our Earth Forum Partner organizations to have a table highlighting their work in the past two years.

Emphasis Action Group: What’s next for The Earth Forum.

The Earth Forum of Howard County calls together Earth activists, faith communities, government agencies and interested individuals for civil and informed discussion of climate change, sustainable living and developing communities of cooperation through education ideas and actions to touch hearts for the majesty of creation.

The Earth Forum is open to all interested persons and is free.
