Wednesday Study Groups 2022

If you’ve been thinking about strengthening your knowledge or deepening your relationship with the Bible, now is a good opportunity. During Lent we have a six week study session. So come join in the conversation.

2022 Lent Study – Morning and Evening Groups

March 9 – April 13, 2022

Witness at the Cross:  A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Friday, by Amy-Jill Levine

Amy-Jill Levine, a New Testament scholar who teaches at Vanderbilt University, is one of our favorite authors. She’s written a new book for Lent which looks at the people who the gospels tell us were witnesses to Jesus’ crucifixion. As with her other study books, she’s made a video series to accompany our conversation.

Wednesday Morning Group:  9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday Morning Group returns to meeting in-person beginning Wednesday, March 2! We’re gathering in Branch Hall.
Bring your own beverages. Please remember to wear a mask.

Wednesday Evening Group meets on Zoom:  7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

Stay home, pull up your comfy chair, bring your favorite beverage appropriate to the hour, and read the Bible with friends. What could be better than this?!

This study meets on Zoom – and don’t hesitate to bring your supper or dessert!

Register by clicking the Zoom button – and Zoom will then send you the link, which (bonus!) is good through the end of May. Put the link in your calendar so you can find it – and see you online! If you have questions, please be in touch with Pastor Sue.

To attend, click here to register on Zoom – After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
See you on Wednesday evening!
